The Special Anti-Robbery Squad known as SARS has been accused by members of the public over reports going around of their continuous abuse of power, killing of innocent citizens, extortion and kidnappings.
Even some celebrities despite their fame and money has fallen victim to the evil maltreatment of this policing unit.

1. Ebuka
Known for his iconic fashion sense and as the host for Big Brother Naija, the media personality may have been killed earlier in his career by SARS officials.
In a recent tweet, Ebuka revealed he together with his friend was shot at by the police officers.

The singer took to Twitter in 2018 to say a prayer against harassment from the hands of SARS officers leaving people curious until OAP Dotun revealed in a reply to Mayorkun’s tweet that he was scheduled to have an interview with him yesterday but the interview did not hold because SARS officers ‘caught’ the singer.

The Nigerian rapper revealed that he has been attacked before by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
He tweeted that they pointed a gun to his head during a stop and search.

Kelechi Okoro, a popular doctor and women’s health advocate, also shared her experience at the he hands of SARS officers.
In a recent tweet, she revealed that she was once harassed after they found packs of condoms in her bag and it was only because she had an asthma attack that she escaped.

He told of how lucky he was that a policeman there recognized him and asked him to leave.

Also once a victim of SARS, the singer In 2018, took to Twitter to recollect how he narrowly escaped being killed by SARS officials in Rivers state. The angry rapper wailed about how he was harassed, maltreated almost losing his life in the process.

9. Ikechukwu
The once rapper and now turned actor disclosed how he was kidnapped in 2019 just a short distance from his house by SARS officials and taken to Lagos island where he was forced to give out his ATM and pin for withdrawal of his money otherwise he would lose his life.
